About The Buff Project

The BUFF Project (Better Uses For Food) began as a community service initiative for the Max Potential youth leadership program. What started as a single project quickly grew into a vision of empowering communities to tackle one of Australia's biggest environmental challenges—food waste.

Our mission is simple: to provide households, schools, businesses, and communities with practical, achievable ways to reduce the amount of food they throw away. We believe that creating lasting change doesn't require perfection—it starts with small, consistent actions that anyone can take.

Through educational resources, waste-reduction strategies, and community engagement, BUFF aims to make sustainable living more accessible, rewarding, and impactful. Whether it's planning meals more effectively, storing food correctly, or finding creative ways to use leftovers, every action contributes to a larger movement.

But BUFF is about more than just reducing waste. It's about building a community of people who care about protecting our environment, saving money, and ensuring that good food is used for its intended purpose—to nourish people, not fill landfills. 🌏💚

Together, we can transform small everyday habits into a movement that benefits our communities, our economy, and our planet!
